This website is mainly focused on music

I listen to a lot of music my favorite genres are dreampop, cloudrap, and rock

As of now i'm into ambient and etheral music

I'll be mentioning some of my favorites artists, bands, and songs here

Prestame Tu Peine Y Peiname El Alma..

Firstly I'd like to mention some of my favorite Spanish rock bands and more specifially Caifanes, I went to a Caifanes concert this summer and I was blown away by their performences. I only got into this band because my friend had recommended one of their songs and it easily became my favorite. Caifanes is definitely one of the founders of Latin rock as well as Soda Stereo, Mana and Los Prisoneros. I could go on about how influential their music was but I think you already get the point.

Los Prisoneros

Another Spanish rock band

As opposed to Caifanes, Los Prisoneros is more of a Pop Rock kind of band. I can almost guarentee your parents have heard of them (if you're Hispanic and first gen). This Chilean group was very popular in the '80s and '90s having released two hit albums La Voz de los '80 and Corazones. Their hit song Tren al Sur was relased in 1990 in their album Corazones. I'm a huge fan of Spanish rock bands because through music, I was able to connect with family. My uncles listen to this kind of music and had I never been introduced to it, I doubt we would have been able to build close relationships with one another. They are incredibly delighted to know that I share this interest with them and I am too.

Faith, You're driving me away..

Moving on to English bands, Radiohead. In my sophmore and junior years of highschool I discovered the band on social media. It was all I would listen to and (not sure if I'm proud of this) I own all their CD albums lol. I was obssessed. It's definitely different then a lot of the rocks bands nowadays and it did take some time to like it. I remember first coming across their album In Rainbows and thinking it wasn't anything that would particularly interest me. Yet I learned to love their music and I mean all of it seeing as I own their CD's. My favorite albums have to be Iron lung and Ok Computer.
